Wordles About Novel
Hello, I created some wordles for my blog about my novel "The Graveyard Book" I hope you will enjoy them! :)
This is my first wordle, I wanted to share it with you because there are more words used, but I don't think that it really fits with my story although I really liked the keywords. :)
I really liked this second one because of its shape. It's Bod's foot print, I chose this because there are so many adventures in my book, it is a really interesting book and a foot print may symbolize escaping from the graveyard, being alone in a world that is not well-known, going to somewhere withou enough knowledge and many more things.

A Different Ending
There were, there were a lot of Jack Frosts. Bod did not know what to do. Maybe, the expectations were too high for him, who could have thought that he may die at the end of this complicated war? Jack killed, killed everyone Bod loved. Ms. Lupescu, Silas, Liza Hempstock, his teachers in graveyard and his first family. Actually Jack is not something living-being, he is kind of imaginary. And he fights against Bod. Bod saw the knife which he was holding when he killed his all first family except for him, when he was just a little baby. It was that, somehow Bod knew that it was. He tried to fade but he could not. And also there were many Jack Frosts. All the ones Bod loved was dead know and Scarlett... She was fighting against him with Jack because she fell in love with him. Jack was near to kill Bod? Bod thought that who really Jack was. Was he a human? No, he cannot be, because there were so much blood in his hands, taken from the ones who Jack killed without thinking carefully, as a reflex. And Scarlett, her eyes were big and bright with the desire of love, she could do anything for Jack, the man she loved, Bod knew it and felt sorry for her. And he kept thinking who Jack was. Jack read Bod's mind and answered, "No one can really know who I am, because I am the most famous thing that scares a lot people in that silly, complicated life. But for no more confusion, you actually know me, you can see deep inside people, can't you? So you can understand me and my purpose. But only you, not no one else; ant that is the reason why I am killing you right know. You know me, I am the Devil." Bod could not think for a while, but he accepted the truth as it was. He started to believe because he saw his devil face just a while ago, at the end of his explanation. And he was going to die right that moment, he thought of Lisa and her friendship, he prayed for her to be happy because he really loved her. When Jack's cold knife touched his neck he was still thinking of her, and he understood that he was killed. And then, just a second later Jack and Scarlett disappeared, there was no proof that the devil came down there only a while ago. The wind was blowing and the graveyard was singing its own song as it was normal. And Bod he was an angel on the way to heaven.

important events from my point of view.
I think Bod’s new family, his new friends and the Danse Macabre is
important, so I wrote about this events.MY IMAGE SOURCES:

Feed versus The Graveyard Book
Hi! In this post I am going to write a compare and contrast post about my book "The Graveyard Book" and my previous book "Feed."
My previous book 'Feed' takes place in the future. Its writing is like a type of a futuristic writing because of a microchip called feed, which can effect your actions, thought and feelings and make you super smart so that you can even mind chat, they can only exist in the future. (Durak, check-in #1 Literary Luminary) But my last novel 'The Graveyard Book' takes place in the past. Maybe like 1800s or 1900s. Writing shows that it takes place many many years ago, because idioms and expressions that the graveyard people use such as "nuffink" (p. 65) shows us they took place in the past and now they are lighting Bod's life by being his mother and father. And also in Feed, there was no such complicated expressions, although it took place in the future and the technology was a long way better. (Durak, check-in #1 Literary Luminary) The Graveyard Book is more about literature by using a sentence like "I'm between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea."(p. 91) These are some differences between my previous book "Feed" and the novel I am reading now called "The Graveyard Book." But that does not mean that there is no similaritites between my two novels. For example, the realationship betweeen a girl and a boy have always existed. In Feed Titus and Violet had a relationship, Okay, to be honest it was differrent than the one in my book between Bod and the witch girl Lisa. But many types of relationships were always there. In Feed Titus stood there with Violet and he went shopping with her one time, that can be a proof of the relationship between these two teenagers. (Durak, check-in #3 Illustrator) And in The Graveyard Book, Lisa was surprised and happy when she heard that Bod was going to buy her a headstone. On page 131 Lisa said to Bod, "It's the first nice thing anyone's done for me in five hundred years." with a hint of a goblin smile. The type of relationships might be different but they are similar, because of the emotions between the characters. And second thing that were similar in those books was how the characters were different. In Feed, there was a girl called Quendy and she had cuts all over her body, she looked really different than a normal person.(Durak, check-in #5 Literary Luminary). And in the Graveyard Book, Abanazer Bolger described it, "He looked to be seven years old, and dressed in his grandfather's clothes. His hair was long and shaggy, and he seemed extremely grave." I think these two examples help me to explain how they are similar. They had some differences and similarities and they two are really good books. I enjoy reading them and I recommend you to read these two wonderful books. :)

My Favorite Scene So Far
You know that I am reading a book called "The Graveyard Book" by Neil Gaiman for my Reading Class. And my favorite scene is the scene that Scarlett left Bod. It was a bit upsetting scene because two friends that spend time together were seperated because of Scarlett's family. But all they wanted was to protect their daughter. When I understood that was Scarlett's last trip to the graveyard, where Bod lived in, I felt sorry for these two beautiful little kid. On page 60, Scarlett said to Bod, "You're brave. You are the bravest person I know, and you are my friend. I don't care if you are imaginary." That sentence made me confused because there was no proof that Bod was imaginary or not. We know that he was a baby when Jack killed his whole family except for him and we do not know whether or not he is imaginary. It is kind of surprising and confusing for us, people, who are living in their own realities. And also I find being imaginary a little symbolic. Do not you think that being imaginary represents something beyond its dictionary meaning? Maybe being imaginary symbolizes the try for being misty, like a shadow or fog. I know that we all hope to learn if Bod is imaginary or not.
That is my favorite scene because it was full of emotions of two little cute children. How would you feel if one of your friends was going away and he or she would never see your face again? My heart would be broken like it had never been broken. What about the idea of living in a graveyard? If you had a friend who lived in a dark, scary graveyard, would you stay as friends without seeing the circumstances or would you just say that you needed space? These are some questions that related to my favorite scene. And I liked when Bod said, "I'm always here." on page 60, before Scarlett left him.
They were just little kids with great ideas. Who could come to say a 'good-bye' for a friend instead of just going away in these days? Anyway I thought that was my favorite scene because I hate good-byes and I know it may become hard for someone to leave.

I found this image, the girl is Scarlett and the boy is Bod. I think this scene is drawn just before Scarlett left Bod. I found this image interesting and I think this image matches well with my book. I am enjoying my book with all events, and I hope you will enjoy it too! See you soon!

So, What Happened in My Book So Far?
In my book 'The Graveyard Book' there is someone called Jack who killed a whole family except for a baby. This little vulnerable baby crawled and went to the graveyard for some reason that we do not know yet. And we still do not know why the man Jack killed the family except this baby. Anyway when this baby reached the graveyard there were some old people who had been buried in that graveyard a long time ago. Mr. and Mrs. Owens were talking when they saw the baby coming from the fog, like a misty shadow. When he reached them a woman arised and said them to protect her son, actually she asked them to protect. Mr. and Mrs. Owens accepted after Mrs. Owens said that she had always wanted a baby when she was alive and that baby could be another chance to have a baby. They both knew growing a baby up would be hard, but they chose to try. Silas, a man who leaves the graveyard became the baby's guardian and he promised them to find food for the baby. The mother saw them promising and she was happy because she knew her baby would be protected even if it was a graveyard. Anyway, the baby needed a name, so they named him as "Nobody Owens" (shortened form is Bod) because he was like nobody but himself. After that days passed fast and Bod become a child. He became curious about the world, the world around the graveyard, around him. He asked questions to Silas, his guardian, and he started learning the alphabet that normal people use. One day while he was learning a girl appeared and they started to play games. This girl was Scarlett. Her mother and gather were teachers and they thought that Scarlett was having fun with her imaginary friend which is normal was those days at the age of five. One day Bod was showing Scarlett the graveyard, they went down into a hill and met someone called "The Sleer" they both didn't know if it was imaginary or not. They came back with dust all over their bodies and saw that Scarlett's family and police were searching her everywhere. After that day Scarlett came once to say good bye because her family didn't want her to see Bod again, they wanted to protect Scarlett. And Scarlet said to Bod that he was her best friend, he was brave, he was the bravest person Scarlett had ever known and it didn't matter if Bod was imaginary or not. These are some events that I read recently in my book. I enjoyed my book and I hope you will enjoy it too.
I chose this song because the rhythm of the violin leads you into the music. And I think Bod and Scarlett's emotions are leading them to the mysterious events. And Scarlett's mother and father did not want their daughter to see Bod again so this song symbolizes the melancholic events that happened in my book. And I think this song symbolizes the fear of unknown because the piano was played once or twice but it was very strong and emotional. And they went down the hill and met "The Sleer", they were unknown to them and Bod and Scarlett were scared, went they came back their clothes were covered with dust and a great deal of hope. I think this song gives you courage to think and feel better. And I think Bod will not forget Scarlett and they will meet soon no matter what their family say. In my opinion this beautiful slow song matches well with my novel "The Graveyard Book" and I enjoyed it, I hope you will enjoy it too!
